Jaffna Fort

Jaffna Fort is a fort built by the Portuguese at Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1618 under Phillippe de Oliveira resulting the Portuguese attack of Jaffna. The fortification is situated close Karaiyur. Jaffna City

Nainativu

Nainativu is a small yet eminent island off the bank of Jaffna Peninsula in the Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The name of the shore suggests the legends occupants, the Naga folks. Maduru oya National park

Maduru Oya National Park is a national park of Sri Lanka, built up under the Mahaweli development plan and furthermore goes about as a catchment of the Maduru Oya Reservoir. Buddhist remnants of altars, sanctuaries, dagobas, statues, and isolations are found in Henanigala, Kudawila, Gurukumbura, Ulketangoda, and Werapokuna having a place with different times of Sri Lankan history.
