Passikuda Beach

Even an open tournament is held at the Pasikuda beach annually for the surfers.

Trincomalee Beach
Trincomalee is the gateway to a few of the finest beaches in the eastern coast of Sri Lanka, namely Uppuveli and Nilaveli located 6km and 16km away from the town area. The beaches with knee deep shallow waters that runs hundreds of feet into the sea, afford ample opportunities for surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing and Whale Watching. The seven hot springs at Kanniya are just 8km away and known for their therapeutic properties. A high wall bounds the rectangular enclosure which includes all seven springs. The water is warm while the temperature of each spring varies from one another.

Pigeon Island
Just off Nilaveli, lies Pigeon Island, a little rocky islet where the blue Rock pigeons breed, and whose waters around are a paradise of colourful fishes. Popular with tourists, the island can be reached by boats hired from any of the local area hotels or from the beach.

Batticaloa Beach
It is the famous singing fish and is at exit point of a picturesque lagoon made up of a series of connected lagoons filled with mangrove swamps that attracts tourists to this serene beach. Batticaloa is famous for its Singing Fish and picturesque lagoon. it is also said to be the land of the singing fish. On full moon nights a faint but distinct musical sound rises from the lagoon waters. This is attributed to a noise emanated by a kind of fish found in the lagoon. A Dutch Fort near the lagoon is another tourist attraction and the whole area around bears signs of European occupation, by the Portuguese, Dutch and the British. Batticaloa has coral rich seas along the east coast. Diving and snorkeling is possible in the nearby seas. Late March to end of October is a good season for these activities along the eastern coast .

Beruwala
This small town situated 56 kms south of Colombo possess a stretch of coastline dotted with palm trees, white sandy tracts and clean blue waters nearby. The bay remains ideal for swimming almost throughout the year and there is heavy tourism development centred around Beruwala. Here is a very good example of how a small sleepy fishing village with only a bay nearby is transformed into a grand holiday resort with numerous luxury hotels and other amenities inviting the tourist.

Kalpitiya

Hikkaduwa Beach
Hikkaduwa, one of the largest & most influential tourism sites of Sri lanka has gained a tremendous stride with the rise of the tourism sector. Hikkaduwa is more famous for it's Coral sanctuary. Bentota Beach

Jaffna
Jaffna is both a sea port as well as an important city of the island. The rich ancient culture of Jaffna is very interesting while the remnants of the buildings belonging to the Hindu period and of the colonial period denote the living history of Jaffna. Unawatuna Beach

Negombo City Tour
Negombo is a modest beach town located is a city on the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo. It's just 10km from Bandaranaike International Airport. With a stash of decent hotels and restaurants to suit all pockets, a friendly local community, an interesting old quarter and a reasonable (though somewhat polluted) beach, Negombo is a much easier place to find your Sri Lankan feet than Colombo. Near the waterfront, the remains of the 17th-century Dutch Fort now house a prison. Negombo Lagoon, lined with fishermens huts, feeds into the Dutch-era Hamilton Canal. The canal leads south to Colombo. Neoclassical St. Marys Church, completed in the 1920s, features a ceiling decorated with vivid religious paintings.
